Bryn Veterinary Centre is a veterinary practice that also operates as a Veterinary Nurse Training facility. It appears set up for routine and ongoing care as well as urgent presentations: reviews describe support for diabetic cats, rabbit care (including dematting and vaccination discussions), and same-day attention after a road-traffic accident before transfer to a veterinary hospital. Cost transparency comes up repeatedly—owners mention clear discussions about treatment costs and no “surprise costs”, although one recent review says the clinic has “got sold” and now feels “all about money,” which conflicts with other owners’ experiences.

4.7 stars from 438 reviews. - Cost communication and restraint with testing: several owners describe clear explanations of costs and say the clinic didn’t push additional tests they felt were unnecessary; one reviewer explicitly contrasts this with a previous practice where they felt pressured into tests.

Having found an abandoned rabbit in extremely poor health and condition I rang the golborne veterinary for advice and help as this poor Bunny was completely disabled immediately the lady receptionist spoke with empathy and after consulting with the vet told me to bring the bunny into the surgery I offered to leave a donation or even pay for any treatment which looked bleak as there was no quality of life I love bunnies and felt I needed to pay at least a consultation fee but the lady said there was no need to make any payment which in my eyes speaks volumes that the animals well being is definitely in this case top priority. Thank-you with kind regards to everyone.

Totally happy with this vets, very friendly, professional, good communication about cost, what treatment was needed, great advice, our doggie doesn't mind attending, tail wagging as he knows hes going to be fussed and looked after.

We have been very lucky to have this surgery as our veterinary practice- we originally picked them as our local vets but we definitely got lucky. We have had really consistent and helpful support with our cat and their diabetes and no question was too stupid when we were understanding how to manage his needs. Vet Lindsay has gone above and beyond for our fat cat and she’s been so patient with all the diabetic treatment and visits he (and we) have needed. We have all our animals at this practice and they are just as helpful with our bunnies as they are with our cats. They have been really supportive and non judgemental about our moody rabbit who doesn’t fancy cleaning themselves properly too, helping with dematting and offering advice to avoid issues in future. They always have great knowledge of new research and treatment options, which recently really helped reassure me when discussing the new rabbit vaccinations versus some misinformation online. Would recommend 100%!

Iv only had my dog a short time, 12 months, there are many vets too choose from, but bryn is the nearest so went here 1st, been 3 or 4 times in 12 months, and never been dissapointed, waiting time can be lengthy, not silly, but in my opinion that just signifies standard of care, not trying to get you in and out for the money, i feel my pet is made centre of attention while here, reseption are very nice, vets are very pleasant and certainly knos there stuff which is the main thing, iv joined the pet care plan here too, i would recomend that, me and my pet are happy at this vets, there has been no surprise costs at all, which can be a concern with some vets, but not here, i would defo recommend bryn vets on downhall green road, 9 out of 10 from me.

Vets Lindsey and Rosie are excellent as are the nursing staff. I have 7 dogs who all go here. Plenty parking and huge reception area. Very caring team - won’t go anywhere else

Lovely team, we had previously used another practice and every time we went they were pushing us for tests that weren’t necessary and making us think something more sinister was going on, our bills were always really expensive. Moved to Bryn and they have been amazing, no pushing us for additional testing or anything that wasn’t necessary, they have looked after our cats so well. Highly recommend using this practice.

We've had our dog Bo Peep for 5 years now and never changed vets! We have phoned up for advice and never feel obliged to take her there I was given the answers I need over the phone. The staff are amazing with her each time we visit and always feel comfortable while there and in safe hands. I have recommended this practice each time I know someone with any kind of pet! Even though it's a 30 minute drive from us I wouldn't ever change and so happy that the breeder took Bo there otherwise who knows who we would of been with. Thanks to all the staff for everything and more to come I'm sure!

Thank you to all at Bryn vets for seeing Hope quickly this morning after she had been hit by a car. She was treated by yourselves before being transferred to the vet hospital. We brought her home this evening after getting the all clear. She did not have any internal damage thankfully. She’s been such a lucky girl and we are so grateful for the care you provided.
